What I don't understand is how someone could borrow something, and bring it back broken, and not offer to fix it or buy a new one, and still be able to live with themselves.
Or, they borrow something, and lose it, and then ask to borrow something else. To me, this is just unthinkable.
No one takes care of your own stuff like you do. :(
Including your money; I'm ridiculously broke and there are a few people who owe me money. Unfortunately, it's not such a priority to them to pay me back as it was to get the money from me. (Oops, I did it again.)

But, that's typical. If they need a loan, they'll phone you twenty times in one day. If they already owe you, you never hear from them.
I stopped being the National Buddy Bank a long time ago. There are no better relationship solvents than money and booze.
