And now Dean went and killed Benny, the only person who “never let him down”, to save Sam, hoping Benny would return from Purgatory with Sam. Only to find out that yet again somebody chose to be ~away from Dean.

While I have no problems with the young fella playing 4-year-old Dean, I never really warmed up to Brock Kelly as teen!Dean.
