One cool thing about Tim Hortons about meeting all sorts of different people. Well, one day I had this epiphany. I should use this perk to my benefit by chit-chatting it up with people who look like they are working in my field. ALOT (and I do mean alot) of trucks come through in the morning with all sorts of construction company logos on them. And

Good luck! I'm sure you'll be fine. :) Taking advantage of an opportunity when it's presented is impressive to most potential employers, so they probably won't be weirded out (at least, I wouldn't think so).

Congrats Anika! I wish you the very best! I'm doing something similar myself in that I'm writing songs, and I'm going to post them on youtube and send them to people like Perez Hilton, Lady Gaga and Ellen, who have recording studios and such and are rather new to it themselves. Who knows right? Perhaps we'll both find success, though I'd bank on you getting it MUCH faster than myself lol. Seriously though, good luck and I REALLY hope this works out for you!
