I loved reading this (both 1 and 2), because that's so damn true about the labels, and it just seems like this is naturally what would happen if John stuck to his "I'm straight!" mantra.

I like the progression as John slowly starts to feel more for Sherlock and then slowly starts to realise and acknowledge that he feels more. Now he just needs to accept it. I'm sure Sherlock will do his best to help ;).
