Summary: His day just couldn’t get any worse.

It had been one of those days. One thing after another had gone wrong and now, on top of it all, it had started raining. (He really needed to learn to check the weather reports.)
Slumped down on the curb with a bag of groceries beside him, Clint glared at the cars that passed as the rain plastered his clothes to his skin and his bangs to his forehead. He was supposed to be home almost an hour ago but losing his wallet had made getting a taxi impossible. Sure, he could walk but ten blocks in the rain sounded horrid in his opinion. (Then again sitting in it wasn’t exactly enjoyable either.)
Clint had been so lost in thought that he didn’t even notice the rain around him suddenly stop at first. Soon enough the realization hit him and the blond glanced up.
“Hello handsome. You look lost.”
“Kate what-“
“I was worried about you. Plus, you forgot your umbrella.” Motioning to the object in hand, the young woman grinned and offered him a hand up. “Let’s go home.”
