“I never saw you as a cat person.” Stretched out on Remy’s bed, the reptilian teen gently scratched the fluff ball known as Lutin behind his ears.
“And why’s dat?”
“Cats just seem too mellow for you. I mean, your best friend is Pietro, he’s like a dog in his own right.” Remy snickered faintly and pushed away from his desk to move over towards the bed. He flopped down on top of Victor, chin on the other boy’s shoulder as he ran his hand over the kitten’s back.
“It’s because have Pietro dat I don’t get a dog, mon amie. Cleaning up after Pietro is enough work for me.”
