“I hear ya, mon amie.” Came the muffle reply followed by a slur of muttered curses. Vic sighed in relief and peered down into the hole.
“The others should be here soon. Just hang tight.”
“Take your time. Hole’s really comfortable.” Remy called back, sarcasm dripping off every word. The reptilian teen shook his head, glancing over his shoulder as he heard the rest of the team approaching.
“Well if you hadn’t fallen down the hole in the first place-"
“It opened up under me, mon amie! I was just walking and it felt da need to swallow me up.”
