A/N: The infirmary in XCE is becoming a very popular place of late. Oh, and for the record, this version of Jono is based of the AoA Jono. So he still currently has a whole body.
“So, what are you down here for? Weren’t you just here last week mate?”
“I was training with Remy and caught his bo-staff across the back of my head.” Vic murmured, holding an ice pack to said spot. “And yes I was. What about you?”
“Picked a fight with Professor McKenzie.” Sitting on a bed across from the reptilian teen, Jono was sporting a black eye and a sling around his left arm. Vic gave him a look and the British teen flashed him a smile. “Alright, so it was training but still..” The infirmary door opening cut off any reply that Victor might have had and both teens turned. Dr. McCoy was ushering in another patient, and said patient looked completely miserable.
“Manny?” Vic murmured, blinking as worry took over his expression. The empath said nothing and let himself be lead to another bed. He made a distinct point not to look at the other occupants, instead turning on his side so that his back was to Victor. The other two teens shared a glance. The only time Manny ever looked this bad was when he got emotionally overloaded. Green eyes flickered back over towards the empath. “What-“
“Wanda. Now shut up, Victor.” The reply was almost instant and Vic bit his tongue to keep from saying anything more. The British teen looked too curious for his own good but for once, kept his mouth shut.
At his desk, Hank sighed and jotted down a few notes, wondering when the next time he was going to get a peaceful moment would be.
