That's really weird. If my sims have the required friends and skills, they tend to be promoted at latest the day after they fill their work performance bar. But I still see new things in the game, so perhaps there really is some other factor at work.

Good job with the business :) Unfortunate that one grouchy sim caused the temporary level loss, but like in the real world, there's just no pleasing some people, so a few unhappy customers are inevitable I think. Glad you were able to recover the level so quick.

Thanks! I feel I'm getting better at running stores, so it's more fun!

Melissa is a really pretty young lady -- a good mix of both of her parents. That flower shop is a lot of fun to play, just wait until you can get snapdragons then customers will never leave.

I've never had any sim ever able to do snapdragons. That will be something!

Good job with the business. Melissa is a very pretty little girl. She does look quite a bit like Engla.

Especially the RL Engla :) But she does have the same hair as Engla Ramirez, too.

Ahh, the sim glass ceiling. Glad she was able to switch companies!

The problem for sofie might be that she DIDN'T switch company, since she wanted to be loyal to her old company, but it might have been a bad decision
