It may not make for exciting stories, but it is just so practical to have sims you can plop down by the bookshelf and leave for a day! You could have ten Knowledge sims for the work that goes into one Pleasure or Romance sim.

These updates with elderly parents waiting for the heir to come home makes me a little sad. They should have a life of their own. It sometimes makes me wish I had Bon Voyage installed.

I have Bon Voyage and my elders are still skilling. ^_^
To be honest, I did not find vacations compelling, and they seemed too detached from the community focus of Micropolis. Perhaps they lend themselves better to family-oriented updates.

I thought Allegra was the countess in the one picture of her at the anniversary party, lol. The round may not have been that exciting, but the Lind's have the most interestingly decorated house in the hood that I can tell from the pictures!

Letsbo is quite colourfully (new word?) decorated, and it has the party garage with brick walls. I'm bad with house tours, maybe I should do a section on that? Or not, I suck in decorating :)

Ah, they have a life. They seem to enjoy their slower pace now waiting for their boy to come home. It's nice to see elders who are comfortable with their age and life and just are enjoying doing what they want to do. :D

Well, I guess I should be happy that there's not drama in every house :)

Even though it may not be the most exciting, it is nice to see the perma-plat elders enjoying the fruits of their labor during the last stretch of their life. From what I can tell, their house is VERY colorful. :)

It is indeed a colourful house. It has happened by accident in a way, but I have noted that I adopt a different style for different houses, hardly without noticing myself!
