My Mom is dead. She died in an accident. [ It's said.. very matter-of-factly, actually. It doesn't really sound sad - the sad part about it is probably just Nanako saying it like that. ]

Because he had been working on something to give to Hughes for Father's Day, he couldn't give it to his real father but Hughes was as good as his real father... Well, the obvious option is to hold into it and give it to him when you meet him again. It's not as if you really need to give your father a present on a determined day, I mean, he's your father everyday, right? I bet he would even like it more if it was a present on a random day for being your father.

But that may be a bit hard, right? Then, maybe we could try something else... Say, do you believe in magic and miracles?

Hmm, that's right.. But it might be a little sad if he doesn't get anything for Father's Day though.. Maybe I should make more drawings so I can give him one on different days.
