Ignore this, it's a total mess and mostly for my benefit o/

Transfer kid from the city, forced to move to Inaba so his dad can manage the new local Junes department store (like a smaller Wal-mart)
- The store became popular, and started causing problems for the local Shopping District
- He and his family became infamous
  - is the "Junes Kid" slowly killing the Shopping District
- sensitive about being "the problem", since it's not really his fault
  - bothers him more than he lets on
    - "everyone knows me.. I don't mind, but it sucks that I always gotta mind my manners. [smile smile]" <-- intentionally shallow answer
  - Pushes it off onto his folks; wasn't his idea
    - though will defend Junes
- mostly isolated himself (was isolated?) as a result
  - hello headphones
- wonders if life would be better if both Junes and the Shopping District went under, so that he wouldn't have to think about it anymore
- became bitter about the town itself, since there's nothing interesting back there
- Wasn't until Saki-senpai told him that "parents are parents.. but you are you" that he started to open up a little.
  - also resulted in a total crush on Saki-senpai.
- Never has been discreet with his feelings for girls, asks girls out sometimes
  - is possibly why his shadow had nothing sexual about it, since he's already open about it
During Game
Weirdness makes him uneasy
- "I'm going to erase this whole day from my brain. I don't think my poor heart can take it."
- Extreme weirdness causes freakout attacks
Conservative, but observant and world-smart.
- outwardly calm/passive, ball of nerves inside
- high standards (perfectionist?)
- Asks a lot of valid questions; good at uncovering facts
HATES sitting on his thumbs when there's a problem, wants to go and do something about it.
- originally for selfish, petty reasons like giving him something to do or an opportunity to come out a hero
- Definitely becomes more pure as things get serious.
- NORMALLY not rash, will think some things through first
  - regrouping after Chie got her Persona, instead of continuing forward
gives credit where credit is due
- Teddie: isn’t sensei awesome yosuke?!
  Yo: Dude why can’t I be sensei
  Ted: oh, sorry. /sadface
  Yo: … well, you both were pretty awesome back there.
- Ted: wow sensei, you're great at fighting! Not like Yosuke.
  Yo: Shut up Ted. Though I gotta say, you know what you're doing. I don't wanna mess things up doing my own thing, so you can order me around if you want.
Tends to be "that guy" who goes a little overboard sometimes (with his passion for justice and outrage for injustice)
- MC reels him in from time to time
  - So caught up in his thoughts that will overlook people's conditions
  - May become very drastic
- NOT an everyday occurrence-- extremely conditional
- can get caught up in non-serious things too
  - accidentally eating all of Chie's soba since it was omgdelicious
    - results in spazzy spaz spaz sorries, though makes bff pay for it too
Doesn't think as highly of others; thinks that they're the only ones who could possibly solve this
- "those police guys are still looking for witnesses. Heh, as if the culprit wore bright yellow clothes at the scene of the crime."
Really REALLY burned up about the idea that someone is murdering people

Uses dry humor a lot
-- to point out things (lighthearted always with a wink)

Definitely more immature than mature
- loves provoking things
  - Kanji's questionable orientation
- loves using information to manipulate childishly
Insecure
- Often feels sorry for himself, but covers it up
- blocks awkward situations with jokes, mostly self-berating
abandonment issues
- terrified of being alone or left behind
  - doesn’t change phone address just in case really old friends try and contact him, despite admitting he doesn't even remember what they used to talk about
thinks everything is a pain
- expresses it through dry sarcasm, humor, and commentary towards irritations
- but deeply admires Souji’s enthusiasm and attitude
Willing to keep secrets from people and lie, but justify his actions when it comes up
Hates when unfair opportunities are ripped from him
- Saki-senpai being murdered, will never be able to get to know her better
- made his emotions rage: pissed and angry and upset, lost himself in his emotions and cried
However, is always asking questions, so uncovers a lot of answers

wants to be “special”
- throws himself at anything interesting so he can act like a big shot, maybe even be a hero
  - willing to use other people as an excuse [unconsciously] (saki and original reason for entering tv-world)
- that one person who can avenge Saki-senpai
- That special person in someone’s life
- Would give life meaning
- To souji: “Yeah… Like you… you’re special to me, you know?” >/rubs nose
Finally realizes that the most important things are around him.
Very sheepish when it comes to expressing himself or getting compliments, blowing it off with modest humor
A bundle of nerves, so gets worked up easily
- WILL cry if worked up enough
- Very grand with his emotions
  - Swears a lot
  - Yo: What?! She's not really here?! Seriously?!
    Kanji: Pffft, you sound like the world's about to end.
    Yo: Shaddup!
Originally jealous of souji, didn’t trust him
- From the same background as Yosuke, but didn’t act like him once he got there
  - Bored out of his mind, think everything was a pain, etc
- Instead, got his persona, became their leader, gathered a group, is a hero
  - Proud, but stupidly jealous
- Thought about the time he called him Special
  - Wanted to be acknowledged by him the most
- End up asking Souji to fight him, to punch away the feelings and make them equal.

- can eat ganmodoki
