Family is not something Minato has had for a long while.

So to suddenly have a father again is more than a little awkward. Even if his father is a country (not even his country), it nonetheless brings back memories of his childhood he tried so hard to repress. How his real father would try hard to be kind, despite his job obviously occupying much of his time away from his wife and kids. Small things like that would often bring a slight smile to his face, along with a wistfulness.
