Boneless skinless chicken breasts (however many you want)
Cream of Mushroom soup
White wine (I used chardonnay--doesn't have to be expensive, but, as Darrin said, it has to be drinkable)
salt, pepper, garlic to taste
Swiss cheese (deli sliced)
Parmesan cheese
Put seasonings on the chicken. Put Swiss cheese on the chicken (I used two slices per breast) Mix the soup and wine (3/4 can of wine for every can of soup) and put that on the chicken. Sprinkle Parmesan on top. Bake at 350 until done.
Yep. I'm looking to chop and boil and shred as little as possible. If it has more than about 4 steps, it's not easy enough for me these days. Carlos, on the other hand, can cook as difficult a meal as he likes, because I'm home to corral the baby.
I do something similar to the "Drunk Chicken" recipe in the crock pot. I normally do it with beef, but I don't see any reason you couldn't substitute chicken, turkey, or rabbit. The one I do uses golden mushroom soup, canned mushrooms, good old Lipton onion soup mix and burgundy. Slap it all in the pot, turn it on low, and walk away. I serve it over egg noodles or rice
