Yesterday, I was alerted by mangatherapy that Tokyo Youth Ordinance Bill 156 becomes effective starting today. It is more casually known as the 'Tokyo Manga Ban'. Reading those quotes makes me want to burst out with a profoundly insightful exclamation along the lines of F*CK THIS SH!T but srsly. Just smh at how deluded govt can be. -_-

Ooh, more details on Sorachi trolling? :D Although I haven't been reading the manga for months now to stay clear of spoilers lol

Yeah, that's why although I take political issues seriously, I can't take politicians seriously. Most of them, anyway. :/

Haha, if Sunrise keeps it in ( they would occasionally take obscure cultural references from the manga out of the ep), there should be one in episode 215. Basically one character advocating the repeal of the bill. It's a lulzy character who doesn't appear very often...anything more would be spoilery! In another chapter, the Yorozuya discusses how the bill would affect the manga, what with all the ch*nko jokes. Naturally, after that mention, the jokes get even more risque / brainbreaky. It's like he's goading someone up there. XD
