Yes, that news was made of awesome. Both MP Pant and the prince are people of courage and it's good that they can put their public :-) I know in person some gay people who live in a more tolerant environment than the prince was facing, and who have far less to lose, but who refuse to even come remotely close to supporting gay rights or even being publicly associated with known glbt people because they're scared of how (they imagine) non-gay people would see them. So for the prince to come out the way he did given social climate in a place where people burnt effigies of him for being gay, well, that took some guts.
