Kaneuchi Toma: ☼ I’m bad at tanning. When I was younger, I didn’t want to be pale, so I tried sunbathing to get a tan, but I have skin that turns red and that’s it, no tan. So I thought, if that’s the case, I’ll do the opposite and try skin whitening. I put on a ton of sunscreen while on a class trip, and then I got a little tan. Only the tip of my nose got a tiny bit red (smile). ☆ It was fun when we went to Gifu on a class trip! When we climbed the tallest mountain, there was still snow piled up on it. At first, everyone said: “hmm, we’re already third years in middle school, can we still frolic in the snow?” but when the bus arrived at the top of the mountain everybody got excited to the MAX. We played until our clothes and shoes were sopping wet. We also experienced rafting and exploring caves; I totally felt like an adventurer.
Watanabe Reiya: ☼When summer started, I began working on my chest muscles. I’m doing it because I want to become a man who suits tee shirts (smile). I want to look stylish wearing clothes with a simple fashion. I recently bought cool V-neck shirts. Moreover, they came in 3 colors! I can manage being fashionable in the winter, where the style is to wear heavy clothing, but summer’s fashions start with your body, it’s hopeless if you don’t work out! ☆ Lately I’ve had a huge appetite, and in one day I eat about four meals. Of course, by the fourth meal my mom told me: “we don’t have any side dishes left to go with the rice!” so I used grated radish, Pacific cod, and green soybeans as side dishes (smile). I’m also working hard at my piano lessons. Now it feels really good when I play the overture. The clarity with which I play it now is pretty different from before.
