I love your style in this. The way you don't reveal everything and give the reader space to think is just awesome and intrigueing. Mixing the fic with quotes of the series is so damn wonderful. They way you introduced the characters in the first part using quotes to support your writing works very well.
I'm looking forward to the next part!

Thank you! I was hoping to use a more minimalist style for this one, but I haven't tried my hand at that before, so I'm glad to hear you like it!

I was worried the quotes in the first part might have been overkill (in McGee's part), but I wanted to show what each scene was inspired by/contrasted against -- it is so relieving & lovely to hear that's working well!

The first one was one of my personal favourite lines (I love competent!Tony)... and I've always been a fan of Jimmy (can you tell? ;] ) -- although we don't see very much of him on the show or in fics.

I love team-as-family fics, so even if Jimmy stars in the role of annoying-little-brother -- he's part of the family!
