I think you're onto something. People always think big solutions when asked about helping the environment, but nobody ever really thinks about the little things which is ourselves and the amount of waste we produce.
Solutions should start at home, not the government.

Indeed. There's a lot that could be done if everyone put in an effort, but I expect a lot of people don't - simply because of the idea that "I'm just one person, I can't make a real difference, and most people are thinking the same thing so there's no point trying."
