Sez the man who does his own housekeeping. :) I used a wool duster, now a Dyson. A brush with very fine bristles is essential for clearing dust off intricate carvings.
Uh uh, been there, quite an amazing room ! Especially since you're not prepared at all to step into this kind of scenery (the Musée Carnavalet is mostly filled up with medieval stuff as it's the museum for Paris History)
I am definitely visiting this place when I get myself together and get to Paris. Do you think I will be able to get around speaking only English? I can read some French but only I am able to understand my spoken French. :) :)
