ok. so during the course of my move in december, i lost my social security card. don't know where it went. in the meantime, my old id expired. now i am stuck in bureaucratic limbo...dmv says, "we can't give you a new id without a social security card"...social security says, "we can't give you a social security card without a valid id". so, uh,
