My screen is flickering, the bottom 2/3s of it.

This is not good.

I really hope a few 'technical taps' as Cody puts them can help with that.

Is it a laptop? Pressing and fiddling around the back of my old one's screen used to get rid of the flickery bits.

It may be possessed. Google your nearest priest, if the screen will let you, and I'll email you a bottle of virtual holy water (physical holy water, while driving out the demons, also has a tendency to drive out the electricity, as I'm sure we all know).

Have you tried taking a soft cloth and while the screen is off, wipe with a gentle pressure in the area? It might work. I don't know who well, but ya never know. But don't do it too hard or the pixels might die.
