Oooh XD *is intrigued* I may just have to go and investigate....although I'm not sure about what character(s) I'd use. S & A (as usual)? Kay? Kay and Ella? Or someone totally random from another one of my stories? 'Tis a tough decision...
I'm a n00b at this as well, but I've talked to the mods about it, and the impression I get is that you create a character journal account for the person you're RPing as. You then make entries in the journal about their experiences. You also IM with other players to make the actual action, and then save the results into the journal as well.
If you take a peek at the rules, they'll tell ou about how to handle your character and stuff like that.
With the actual RPing, you either do it through IMing whoever it is, or in a post made on the main community. The log from the IM or the post would be stuck in your character's journal, and if it was from IMming also in the main community tagged as a log.
The character journal entries supplement the logs and other characters can comment on them.

You're not a n00b - you're a newbie. Newbies are acceptable, n00bs are bad, as illustrated by this comic. :D
