idk ~exactly~ what they are.. i had the idea of yifan being satan and yixing being a victim, but then it turned into yifan being satan AND the victim, and yixing as some weird reptilian demon that was once a human but probably signed a contract with the devil when he was alive, and then in death they're stuck meeting every halloween trying to one up each other
that's about the most basic explanation i can come up with lmao
honestly, i listened to the song on repeat while i wrote (with the general concept in mind) and then this is what happened ^^;;;
i love writing stories like this, they're off the beaten path (i started writing stuff like this for shinee, and then shifted into exo) and i don't know, i feel like it's the only real creative exercise my brain gets hah
