i mean this mostly as an open-ended question, not to nitpick,
but why get married? it seems to be on your mind a lot.
i'm curious as to what you think it would change or make better, or if you're just a romantic person.
who not just be together for as long as you want to be?

it's not really on my mind a lot. it's just there. i think about it. mainly, because i've fantasized about it for a long time. and also because being with jared gives me this great feeling, i might be with him for the rest of my life. marriage to me, isn't so much about the obligations that go along with it. it's just a way of saying to the world that you've found the one for you. and if it doesn't work, then oh well. i don't think it would change much about my relationship and who knows right now because i still feel like such a child.
i want a family to start over with, one of my own with children that i would hopefully not fuck up and a husband to be treated equally as.
just the proclamation of marriage, not for the public, just for friends and family is a nice idea to me. and it's a religious thing too, it's a holy matrimony. and maybe i won't marry some one as christian as me, but they would at least honor my beliefs.

jeez, do all kids feel this? none of us want to fuck up our kids lives because it just sucks that much, when in reality, our parents thought the same thing at our age? oh man oh woman, that's an alarming thought, and depressing at that. I love you, my sister asked me when I was getting married tonight, she thinks 25 is a reasonable age, we better get cracking.
