I like the word association...that was fun! I think musesfool gets the prize for best answer to "chrome". Dragons answers are a little scary. All I can say about my answer for "stubble" is that I was thinking about Dean, but you said one word. :)

HA. No, being the anal retentive historical type, it doesn't bother me AT ALL. Or that Samuel Colt was in England getting a patent for his revolver. Or that the timing with the comet is wrong. Not even a little. *grits teeth*

But that's cool. Because, the way I like to imagine it, John heard this story from a barfly somewhere along the way. And they were both so sauced, that some of the details slipped their minds. *nods* Yep.
