Okay, this is kind of a short little update, but I've been busy having my soul sucked from my body by the plural form.  I sit in grammar class for at least an hour and a half a day and every time I leave feeling stupider than when I went in.  I'm no expert, but I've been in college a while and I'm pretty sure that's not how it's supposed to work.

Love this little glimpse of your life there. Of course you're cool enough to pick your own lunch table!

You're darn right I am!

Finland is certainly a unique place to be. Today there was an eating contest in the city center. Details to follow in a couple of days.

I thought of Dean through the whole description of the sauna. *g* (And I love the icon!)

I'll second the thank-you - these little glimpses of life over there are wonderful! Looking forward to the pictures.

The picture business may be a little more technical literacy than I'm used to, but I'll see what I can do.

And OMG DEAN IN A SAUNA! *attack of rabid plot bunny*

I study physics and this happens far too frequently for me too.

Like the others I find these brief snippets very interesting. The sauna sounds kinda fun. :)

The sauna was AWESOME. But the stupid kind of sucks. I'm afraid I'm really, really going to have to study like whoa tomorrow. Which also sucks. But at least it's not physics. Math and I are...not so good.

Brave? Or stupid. I like to think some combination of both, you know, on a good day.

I feel like you give me a little slice of Finland. The sauna sounds wonderful, except the running into the glacier lake.

I suppose, if enough people ran into the glacier lake with me and if I had a sufficient number of beers in me, I might run into the glacier lake too. Or if someone dared me. Or double dog dared me.

But you better believe I would be high tailing it back to the sauna asap.

The glacier lake was surprisingly refreshing, in a painful sort of way. I think some beer might have helped with that, though. And I certainly considered a little Dutch courage, but booze here is appallingly expensive. It's a sad, sad day when a good little Texas girl can't buy tequila.
