Wednesday Night Poll

May 05, 2010 20:09

Below the cut, obliquest of oblique spoilers for Dead in the Family. I mean, extremely vague.  The poll is really unrelated, except for this one term, which has like zero plot value at all.

Basically: please take this poll unless you're extremely anal about spoilers for the new Sookie Stackhouse book. Extremely.

Um, there was a little war in the late eighteenth century that sorted one of these things out once and for all. Just saying.

I know, I know, it's supposed to be the Gilded Age in the US. But...but...FUCK.

Maybe she could have an American mother? Who is so depressed by Britain that she never leaves the house and royally fucks her kid up? So the kid is technically Victorian young lady, but speaks English purty good like a real American?

She could also be a teetotaler guzzling "healthful tonics" made of all sorts of coke and booze and things of that nature.

A blue-stocking is a term for a lady who was considered unattractively academic. Basically, "nerd" only pejorative.
