It's funny - i'm sitting here with my mom, who is 77, and who was a nurse. She says that this kind of discrimination is 'new' to her, as when she worked in hospitals, nobody was ever asked if they were family to visit - she says they never even thought of it.

Huh. You know, when my Dad was there like two weeks ago, nobody asked us either. We just got a name tag and that was it. And it was a Catholic Hospital. Maybe there's different procedures for the ICU nowadays.

More on Deadliest Catch...I teared up every time Phil was on screen. He looks so old and tired and we already know what happens. I think there were as many bleeps in this episode as in all of last season. Jake has meth face and it makes me a sad panda. I totally thought he was gonna cry when Sig told him he was being traded. Also, Keith is lying out his ASS and he knows it. Because it can't be said enough:
