Yeah, I was kind of torn. The idea of the ep was cool, but it was all so mysterious that it left me wondering more than it actually answered questions. I hear a lot of people were underwhelmed. Yeah, well, I guess they can't always be perfect ;)

I double that Bones squee and the House love!! Yeah, honestly I'm only giving SGU a chance because,well duh, it's Stargate and I'm hoping for more guest appearances by our SG-1 alumns. Any other show I might have already dumped ;)

I'm so sorry to hear about Sydney. She was indeed a beautiful creature. It is one of the hard things about being a human being, and thus a comparatively long-lived being. Our beloved pets can only journey with us for such a relatively short time, and all we can do about that is to make the most of that time, and try our best to be sure that they don't suffer in the leaving.

I'll leave you with the words I gave my father's wife (she's only 7 years older than I, being 15 years younger than he is, and therefore she doesn't like me to call her my stepmother) when her dog Winnie (one of my favorite dogs of all time) died of old age at 21:

A spark flares in the darkness
And dies.
I see it still.

She will always be a bright spot in your memory. Knowing dogs, isn't that what she would want?
