I'm not on my computer right now, because, wouldn't you know it? My computer contracted some sort of virus or SOMEthing at some point and when I turned on my computer today, I couldn't get into Windows. I talked to the tech guy at Dell, and I'm currently trying to install Windows on top of itself or something in an attempt to get into the Windows ( Read more... )

*sigh* Thanks, man, I appreciate it. Currently, I'm still trying to transfer all of my files (there are some that are already missing, though) via USB mini-drive to my brother's old laptop (we have another desktop computer, too, but it's using Windows 98 so it doesn't understand the whole USB thing properly), and tomorrow or whenever I actually finish transferring what I'm transferring, I have to call Dell back and finish the process of, you know, deleting everything I've ever saved and basically starting over. Bah. And THEN assuming all of that goes right, I'll have to transfer all of my rescued files BACK to my computer. Good grief; does it never end?

The one good part of my week so far (trust me; Monday didn't go so well, either) was getting together with my friend for Sin City -- and even THAT day was quite unlucky. (p.s. Replied to comments in your Sin City entry. :) )
