A short, but interesting story Jules. You hit the nail on the head with the Time War. Now, I need to finish up Cyberstrike and get to work on my Rani story!

That was... oh wow describes it best, actually.

Thus, with a combination of grief and determination in his hearts, the Doctor pressed the button that would simultaneously end the Last Great Time War, and damn every Dalek and Time Lord for all time.
A truly beautiful line...

It's a concidence (I haven't read any of the las fics so far) but this weekend I wrote a conversation between TenToo, Romana and Rose about the same topic for one of my fics. Not sure if I'll keep it because when I started writing I said I'd only consider everything up to JE canon (that was last October, so I had a reason for that)...

I think I was the only one that went and did a Time War premise with the prompt. As for your conversation it's up to you, but if you keep it, I would make a note that states that your take of the Time War comes pre knowledge of anything releated to EoT and that you started writing and planning the fic in October before EoT aired. That should be good for most people.

Goodness, the thought of the Doctor destroying any planet is awful, but the Earth? (presuming that was the one you meant) Definitely then!

Yes, it was Earth I was hinting at, and yes, definitely scary. Thanks for reading.

Whoa.

when he nearly destroyed the one planet he cherished above all others,

This is horrific and scary and makes far too much sense. You're good.

It is horrific and scary and makes far too much sense to me in light of EoT. Thanks for reading.
