Ooh that sounds a good synopsis, I like the historical romances, I tend to go for ones set in the Highlands or Regency/medieval times, occasionally I read out of the time zone.

Have you ever read the Karen Marie Moning books? I read most of them last year when I was suffering withdrawals from the Outlander series, but we have a new book to look forward to this year?

I'm making my way through KMM's books now, but I've only read two so far. They're okay, but not great. I like Julie Garwood much more - have you read her books? I too mostly read Highlander romances. I read a lot of regency's (Georgette Heyer) in high school, but I'm starting to venture back in to them now while waiting for Book 7 to come out. I'm going to try some Lisa Kleypas and Julia Quinn books, I hear they're good too. But, my first love (next to Outlander) are the Scottish highlander ones. My TBR list is ridiculously long because I'm always adding books to it! Ever since I joined LibraryThing (I'm ktleyed there btw) I'm constantly adding books!

Anyway, these Darlene Marshall books are not my usual thing either, but since I heard about indirectly by Outlander, I had to give them a try. Smuggler's Bride is available as an e-book btw.

Happy reading!

I found the best KMM book was the Immortal Highlander, the other ones were a bit forgettable. I read my first Lisa Kleypas book last month, the first in the wallflower series, "Secrets of a Summer night" I literally couldn't put it down, I have to get the other three books at some point.

I have this serious book addiction going on, that every time I go to the supermarket I have to come out with two new books in their 2 for £7 deal, which is basically like a buy one get one free offer on all the new paperbacks, they know what they are doing, lol!

I'm starting the with the Wallflower series too! But, I thought I'd start with The Duke and I which is the prequel? Good idea or no? I hardly ever buy my books, I get all at Paperback Swap here in the US, I have this huge pile now!
