So. Last week a friend of Wayne's gave him an external drive filled with 150 movies and we've been watching them obsessively ever since. It was nice, because, as I've mentioned before, I'm a movie retard. Retard, as in, I am not able to sit in a theater for two hours without falling asleep or start daydreaming and completely lose track of the movie ( Read more... )

lol, I'm with you on Juno. I mean, I thought it was OKAY, but I couldn't for the life of me see why people were so in love with this thing. ha, my hair stylist was all "I hated that little bitch so much I just wanted to slap her through the whole thing." If she had just ONCE shown that she was in SOME way affected by the experience, I might have cut it some slack. As a teacher, i've seen my share of pregnant teen girls and I was just dumbfounded by this thing. I think the only thing I liked about it was the idea that people shouldn't rush to judge girls who get pregnant. (It's too bad that that message didn't stick with all the people who say they loved the movie, because I've read/heard a lot of nasty comments from these people when it comes to real life teenagers who get pregnant).

I agree with your opinion on Juno. Where's the sore back, the throwing up, the swollen ankles, the tender breasts, the stretched-out mother-fucking cervix? Pregnancy isn't a picture in the park. Movies about teenage pregnancies should show the negative impacts, not make it out to be all dandy and crap.
...I could only watch it to the half-way mark, it annoyed me so much.

300. I can never look past the ridiculous amount of CGI in that film to even notice the plot line... Seriously.

Hehe, someone who hates Fantastic 4. Yesssssssss.

And I would really like to read your opinion on Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind.
