I know what you mean julia - this assignment scares me more than any of the other ones combined because it's so different than anything I've ever had to do (in fact, this whole class has been been all new stuff for me!) at any rate, I agree with your advice to know the topic in and out you plan to write about. I think most 'good' writers are like that as well - they only write about things, places, and people they know like the back of their hand. This assignment should be interesting. 8)

I totally agree with you, I found that the second reading jumped around a lot and I found it quite hard to read. I think reviews are easier to read as well when the are more specific and broad. Good luck with the next assignment, I know what you mean Im kind of nervous about it too! It is so different...
