Juliann World Tour 2008

Apr 04, 2008 08:58

Due to a number of circumstances, the Juliann World Tour is on again for 2008. In fact, I will be leaving about as soon as possible, given that I need to get a new passport first and that takes six weeks. My health is declining to the point where I need additional care and t's work is very busy so he can't do both, therefore I'm off to stay with ( Read more... )

Gah, sorry I've been lousy at visiting also, I imagine you'll be in the US when I'm down in April - but whenever we next collide I will come over, even if just for an afternoon or something. Time seems to go faster these days.

Let us know if you need anything - and Marcus wanted me to email this week anyway to let you both know that he loves his MacBook Pro and to thank t for the disc, I just haven't written the email yet :-/

I'm not going to the US until end of May, I can't send off for my new passport until we are back from Paris and then it's 6 weeks now that interviews are mandatory...so assuming you're coming down after we're back (15th), I should be here :) Twould be lovely to see you if so.

Not to be a poop but you do know you can renew your passport by mail at the London Embassy, right? It only takes 15 days and costs $75 if you can supply the original and if you want to change to your married name you just add your marriage certificate to the appication. The hardest part seems to be getting pictures that they will approve from what I can see.

I'm getting a British one, which requires me to send in my US one. Technically my visa is no longer valid in the US one (and getting a new stamp costs more than a UK passport) and although I travelled US to UK on it last year that was only a short while after I was naturalized so I had my excuse of not having had time to do the paperwork. I'm traveling on the dodgy visa next week but assuming the passport people at St. Pancras will be even less fussy than Heathrow *fingers crossed*

Hiya Juliann this trip sounds exciting, tiring but so exciting. Cant wait to hear all about your big adventures :)

Any chance you could send the kool-aid before you go away so that Angelica can do her dyeing projects with some please?

When is your birthday by the way so I can mark it on my calendar :)

((((( hugs )))))

Absolutely! I'm so sorry I haven't done this sooner, I've been sooo crap this past month and gotten nothing at all done :/ But the package is all ready for me to take it (and others) to the post office on Monday. (Can't do tomorrow as I'm away at my spinning class and today I had some emergency errands...gotta love docs who want everything yesterday)

I'm sending 8 packs of red, 4 of pink and 4 of orange. Which don't have to be used together but actually that's a very popular colour combination lately, I am told anyway. :)

My birthday is 19 Sept, always a wonderful time of year to holiday in Europe :) We try to travel once in April or early May and once in September or early October. Summers are generally me going to the rents, such as this year. (Only my dad is not home this year, he's doing his final tour in the US Army at Central Command, hence my trip to Tampa.)

Hi Juliann

thank you so much for sending those colours, they sound fab. All I need to do now is get some white vinegar to cook the wool with into colours :)

Added your birthday to my calendar!

Your adventures sound amazing. I have never left the UK so am itching to get started

We'll be back on the 15th and don't need anything :) (I'm going over in just a few weeks anyway and have just gotten a box from mom anyway, but thanks for asking :) )
