Okay gotta log this conversation for posterity. Me and my dad go from The Simpsons, MST3k, 3rd Rock from the Sun, to Doctor Who in a few sentences, proving that yes, all of my conversations never stay in one place.

( I guess I should spoiler cut for Series 3 Doctor Who for some of my friends, but it's nothing huge )

As I said, your dad sounds like an awesome dude.
Though I also worry that if I ever mention I haven't watched much of any Dr. Who, he'll chain me to your sofa and force me to watch it.

He JUST STARTED watching (well, besides the classics from his childhood, probably because he watched all and any vaguely sci-fi thing available.) He wouldn't do that.

EDIT: I mean, I even tried to do the Fandom Closet thing again when I started watching before I saw that he started watching, too.

Hrm. My family pretty much got sick of popcorn.

...My dad and his friends used to have TOAST PARTIES and watch Star Trek. Would that work?
