But wouldn't you agree that Santa (Saint in english), is a kind of a secular analog to Jesus? So when Santa sees if you've been "naughty" or "nice" isn't be in fact seeing if you've sinned or not? Have you been a good person or not? And if you've been a bad (naughty) person, nothing good will or should come to you. But if you've been good (nice), rewards (salvation, redemption) will be yours for all eternity. There is a valuable lesson to be learned from this whole "Santa naughty/nice" business.

No, I don't agree. A holy day, a day that celebrates the birth of the Christ, the one who died a horrible and shameful death so that we might live forever, has been turned into a commercialized, secularized spectacle where anti-Christians and greedy retailers have attempted to make a fat dude in a red suit the center of the holiday, instead of Jesus. Santa is petty, checking up on naughty and nice, and leaving lumps of coal for those who've been "bad". Jesus will accept both the nice and the naughty, and everyone in shades of gray in between, and will willingly and lovingly forgive them of their sins (naughtiness? Ick!) and let them partake of eternal life ( ... )

Very well said. Christmas has become way too commercial and too few people go to church.

Thanks! Yes, people seem to worship at the mall these days, instead of in church. Very sad.
