My silence today is in protest of the daily silencing of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Intersex and Queer people and their allies. My deliberate silence echoes the silence caused by harassment, prejudice and discrimination. I believe that ending this silence is the first step toward fighting these injustices .
