My fanfic obsession began in Fall of 1998 with my discovery that some wonderful people out there, somewhere, wrote better "Buffy, The Vampire Slayer" episodes than the actual writers of the shows

Hmm, it depends. What are you looking for? Any particular fandom? Gen? Slash? Het? Pairings or characters to avoid? I realize that there are a lot of qualifiers there, but a fic that I really like that's Snape/Granger might make you queasy. ;)
