two more book reviews: The Anvil of the World and The Forever War

I guess reviewing books in twos is how I'll do this. I've been reading other books (borrowing Wild Cards books from my coworker, up to #4 currently) but these two are the ones I'm taking time to note.

I really liked the Wild Card books. Also, there's a new WC series out as of January.

Have you read Starship Troopers?

I consider The Forever War to be Haldeman's response to Starship Troopers, about a different generation fighting an unpopular war.

I haven't read Starship Troopers, no. I've seen the movie, but I'm aware it's quite different from the book. I'll probably eventually read it, someday when I decide to follow some kind of sci-fi reading list. ;)
