Imperfect Tense
Chapter 8

FF7/8 || R - sexuality, battle violence, language || Squall/Seifer, Sephiroth/Cloud || crossover
Jenova's legacy, living on through the Sorceresses, is forcing Squall to deal with an unstable Seifer, Cloud Strife, and yet another potential end of the world. Maybe paperwork really wasn't so bad.

Maybe she'll give you a lollipop. )

I adore this and, as ever, the part you write exceptionally beautifully is lab-Cloud, I can't pin it down but without a doubt you capture those feelings better than I've ever seen written before.

Goddammit, why didn't you tell me you'd updated this? Just came back from seeing you and then I spot this skulking on my flist.

Can I tell you again how much I love this story? 'Cos it's a lot.

Oh Cloud, yor doctor phobia. ;_____;

I'M SORRY. For some reason I think you've got some kind of mind-meld that automatically lets you know when I've updated another bit of the story TO WHICH YOU MADE ME RETURN.

It's all on you.

Damnit, it's almost like there's another version spoiling the general events of this one. So not taking that bet.

Hmm... Lollipop. But no, that won't make the situation any better. But I must say your stories are quite addictive! When I first read your fic, I don't want to stop reading it! It's absolutely wonderful and amazing! Can't wait for the next chapter, because with Cloud's phobia of doctors and labs and Squall's cold glare and stuck-up nature, they really make quite an amusing and interesting team.

There are days I can almost see why some people slash these two, and then it's like, "Wait, nope, never mind."

Pfff, Cloud will be totally stable in the face of hospital beds and lab-coated doctors, I have no idea what you're referring to.
