For myself, some definites:

Fleetwood Mac, Running Through the Garden: "Until she herself/ Became just as fatal/ As was her garden... So you run towards what you know is wrong..." Probably asking for both fic and art here.

Leonard Cohen, Stranger Song: "You notice there's a highway that is curling up like smoke above his shoulder." Definitely asking for art.

And -

Steely Dan, King of the World: "No marigolds in the Promised Land; there's a hole in the ground where they used to grow." If I nominate it, I'm probably asking for art.

Paul Simon, Train in the Distance: "Everybody knows the sound of a train in the distance / Everybody thinks it's true." If I nominate it, possibly asking for fic?

Crowded House, Instinct: "I lit the match, I lit the match, I saw another monster turn to ash." Probably asking for fic, maybe art too?

I think I am going to give this a shot!

Rush for sure. Not sure what song yet. Maybe something from presto. So many awesome story songs to choose from.

Sympathy for the devil, maybe.

Galileo by indigo girls.

Something off the Cry Cry Cry album.

So many other things! I started making a list and it quickly got out of hand!

Welcome!

I know. You start with one or two, and then...

I can imagine Sympathy for the Devil; will have to check out the others.

I definitely want some Child Ballads in here- probably Jellon Grame as done by Broadside Electric (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-kcUTpwGExQ) because that one blew my mind when I discovered it.

Maybe Pirate Jenny from The Threepenny Opera, because it has nothing to do with the rest of the show and is a self-contained story, so the writer can have fun running with it.

I've always been fascinated by Rasputina's Frustration Plantation album, though I'm not sure which song in particular to nominate. They all seem to hint at some kind of spooky story hidden beneath the surface, but I can't quite get at it.

Merci Django by Vagabond Opera just offers such a tantalizing opening- the narrator knew Baba Yaga when she was seventeen- that I just really want to hear more!

Man in the Long Black Coat (especially as done by Joan Osborne) is spooky and has a kind of wild-west feel to it that I think would make for a really good story.

the narrator knew Baba Yaga when she was seventeen - yeah, okay, that's a great hook.

Well, I wouldn't be sorry to see Der Zwarg back again.

I liked the music video for Raise the Dead!

No problem!

It's 6 this year.

It's in the 'Rules' section of the AO3 collection profile (although I do not understand the design choice that puts Rules under FAQ).
