Sorry to hear that you're planning on quitting your job, but being away from home over twelve hours does sound crazy.. Is there any way you can change your hours? Even if just for a little while, while you're looking for a new job?
We all need a pick-me-up from time to time, so in my opinion a shopping spree is allowed; I'd have thought you were a bit crazy if you didn't go for the cheap, girly stuff, but yay for the bright pink wallet!
