I read her LJ post about the things she might have done differently. I got most of the way through a reply when I deleted it all and decided I'd just let it lay, maybe as a small payback for her not coming to see me when I was in town. But it was something that I haven't managed to put away, so instead of writing this as a response to her post, I'm ( Read more... )

And I'm sorry I couldn't make the trip up north - I had just gotten my brother and his mattress a few days earlier, his complaint that he hadn't seen the place since Halloween and was drowning in his unhealthy home life. I had him visit out of pity.

It wasn't actually the extra traveling that was a deciding factor - Brad's insane, not-to-be-trusted friend was driving down to see him and after some consultation with others, I thought it would be best to stay close and make sure nothing happened to Brad (that would piss me off).

And so, the weekend was mediocre. A few bad decisions were made on my part, breaking 50 days of healthy eating, and I don't believe that I will ever encourage my brother to visit, again. Not in his current life phase or lack thereof.

:/ Crapness. I hope you enjoyed the time in your hometown.

I did have a good time, picked up some stuff I needed and got some new ink on my back. MySpace pics if you're curious. We should do a new photo shoot, and do one of both of us. People keep asking me about the elusive Autumn. I only tingle in anticipation of the poses we could come up with. ("In the name of the moon...!")

Anyway, I'll be back as it warms up. Sorry to hear about Chris's lack of.. ambition? And the psycho friend thing.. that's.. intense. Glad to hear everything worked out ok if mediocre.

Catch you around :)
