I had my last ever presentation for this degree yesterday (it is probably only a tiny % of my degree really), I think it went quite well, which is good, since when I say I am going to do crap (or mediocre depending on subject - go me) in my finals am not bullshitting yous haha ( Read more... )

is it an all girl roller leuge your in? or is it mixed? I did not know it was fighting on skates i did think it was dancing on them and now i know it not id like a go at it.

yes its all female skaters, the only male league in the UK (M.U.R.D.A) is based in London unfortunately!

Its not actually 'fighting' on skates - it is full contact. This means you can body check ppl and try and knock people down, but there are lots of illegal moves - like you can't just punch someone in the face!

Males can be refs though! Although this doesnt involve the fighting/full contact!
