That's bizarre.

It reminds me of the video for Last Dance for Mary Jane.
Tom Petty is dancing around with the "dead" Kim Basinger, circa 1988ish?
And as if we sort of co-participating in each other's soundtrack, the Police's Bring on the Night just played.

Weird. I thought live women fetched a higher price than dead ones anyway. So, if she was willing to be sold for an arranged marriage, you'd expect he wouldn't bother to kill her and make the money off selling a bride.

Live women to be brides are in short supply in China and expensive.

"I did it for the money; it was a quick buck," Yang said, according to the paper. "If I hadn't slipped up early, I planned to do a few more."
Ok, THAT was clearly translated by an American...

So...is China EVER gonna get this "One-Child Policy" caused gender imbalance worked out? They don't have enough LIVE women for the LIVE men, and now people are providing CASH INCENTIVES to 'convert' live women into DEAD women for the dead men?

I wonder if this guy and his accomplices have wives? Serves 'em right if they don't.

wow, 12,000 is how much a woman's life costs
Well, at least now you have a price range when you go shopping for ernai?
