Get yourself a couple of other betas. Sometimes more than one view can give you ideas on how to solve problems.

Also have confidence in your vision. You might have beeen right about the scene the first time and that's why rewriting isn't working. First 4 parts were great maybe you don't need a huge drama in the 5th. Some times the biggest changes are marked by small moments not high drama.
