At last, I have some concrete news for you. On Wednesday I will have handed in the first drafts of all my essays. Aevy has promised to beta chapter 5 on Friday, which means I can use Sunday to revise. I won't say anything about posting, since I don't know the extent of the necessary revisions yet, but at least there will be movement

Yay for movement. So glad to hear we'll be getting something soon. I can't wait.

That's how I imagine it too.
I know that Sera Gamble has said that poor Jimmy got "stewed into the water", but I refuse to believe it! :P
And though we have met a Leviathan boss already, he might either A) not be the biggest boss of them all or B) be the right guy, only shifted to a different shape. The Leviathans can do that after all.
We'll simply have to wait and seeeee.

As for season 7, I thought it started off promising but then it petered out again. I've recently decided to (try) to stop watching (at least until the season is over). I'll catch up later and probably watch it all at once. Personally I've been disappointed with the show on multiple levels since Sera Gamble took over. *sniffles* I hate to say it b/c I still love Supernatural and criticising it feels like blasphemy! I'm still holding on to some hope that it will become amazing again someday, though...
Anyway, for now I'm contenting myself with the Redemption Road project and other assorted fanfic, like your beautiful story which I adore ^^ As for your Cas theory, you may well be right.*weeps* I don't know if I'm strong enough to watch that!!! <----is being ridiculous

I didn't see season7, but it came. I agree that they're beginning to stretch it, though. It's clear that they hadn't planned much beyond the first five.
Having sent the boys to Heaven and Hell, put them through every painful thing a man can go through and letting them come out on the other side ... What is left? This might be the reason why season 7 feels a little empty and a little aimless, because there's nothing left to do but sit down and angst about what has been. :P
I still believe in the show, though. I think it'll pick up in the second half.

One thing that upset me was how people talk about how Cass betrayed Dean, I don’t see it, Cass has always done anything and everything for Dean. He rebelled & fell from grace, got himself kill at least 2 times, killed HIS own brothers, and so much more. If Dean can forgive Sam for freeing Lucifer and all the crap with the demon blood, Lying & Sneaking out to see Ruby, then the stuff he did when he was soulless. He can forgive Castiel and it seems he only tells Cass he is family when it is convenient for him. I love Dean don’t get me wrong but sometimes he just pisses me off.

I totally agree that Dean needs to do some serious soul-searching and sort out his mistakes. Poor baby is so messed up, he can't tell up from down at this point, and unfortunately it caused a rift between him and Cas.
But I have faith that things will turn out alright!

Sadly, I'm not watching S7 of SPN this year, so fanfic is where I have to get my SPN fix. I just don't trust TPTB to bring Cas back in any way worthy of his character, or to repair the relationships between Cas, Dean and Sam, so I've decided to bow out of the show I loved for so long. :(

Speaking of living in the land of fanfic, have you been reading Supernatural: Redemption Road? It is kicking the ass of canon S7.

The reason why I haven't posted in a month is because I'm ashamed to be so late. :P

And yeah, I totally understand about school; it's kicking my butt lately too with essays and projects and tests. But yay for before Christmas! I'm excited.
Good luck with your essays!
