"Continuity Errors" by that little known Doctor Who author, Steven Moffat. In it, Doc7 needs to get a library book out that will help him save millions of lives, but the grumpy librarian won't let him. So he starts meddling in her past until she's happy & content with her life. But she still won't. It's quite funny and has a great ending too.
Heh. gordon_r_d mentioned "Continuity Errors" as his favorite Doctor Who short, too.
That's the great thing about being a DW writer who writes for both prose and television -- you can recycle stories without having to worry about copyright issues... ;-)

That's the great thing about being a DW writer who writes for both prose and television -- you can recycle stories without having to worry about copyright issues... ;-)
